This Cookie and Website Analytics Policy explains how Lifewood Data Technology Limited and its affiliates use cookies, browser-based technologies, server-side logs and statistical measurement tools when you visit lifewood.com and other Lifewood-controlled web pages that link to this Policy. It should be read together with the Lifewood Privacy Policy.
Cookie policy at a glance
Website operator
Lifewood Data Technology Limited, Hong Kong, and relevant Lifewood affiliates for locally operated pages.
Core approach
Strictly necessary website technologies may operate by default. Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot analytics / visitor-identification technologies are treated as non-essential and are subject to consent controls where required. Server-side security, crawler-verification and aggregate traffic measurements may operate separately from browser cookie choices.
Browser analytics
Google Analytics 4 (property G-9RHBGTQ2FE) and HubSpot (portal 246959968), subject to the consent model described below.
AEO/GEO measurement
Lifewood uses server-side statistical logging to understand verified crawler activity, paths, referral patterns and aggregate human visits for website security and AEO/GEO measurement.
Marketing cookies
Lifewood does not intentionally deploy cross-context behavioural advertising cookies on lifewood.com as at the date of this Policy.

1. Who we are and scope
Lifewood Data Technology Limited (“Lifewood”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a Hong Kong-based global AI data company. Lifewood operates an international delivery network supporting enterprise AI data services, AI-generated content (AIGC), answer-engine and generative-engine optimization (AEO/GEO), LLM training data, multilingual data operations, scanning and indexing, autonomous-driving data and related edge-intelligence solutions.
This Policy applies to lifewood.com and any Lifewood-controlled website or web page that expressly links to it. Separate project platforms, client portals, recruitment systems, campaign pages or third-party services may have their own notices or cookie controls. Where another notice expressly applies to a particular service, that notice will govern that service.
2. Cookies, similar technologies and server-side measurement
Cookies are small text files or identifiers placed on, or read from, your browser or device when you visit a website. They may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period or until deleted.
We also use or may use technologies that perform similar functions, including local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, browser identifiers and server-side logs. Some server-side measurements, including security logs and crawler/AEO/GEO statistics, do not place or read a cookie on your device. In this Policy, references to “website technologies” include cookies and these other technologies where relevant.
3. Why we use cookies
- to operate the website, maintain security, prevent abuse and support core navigation and forms;
- to remember preferences such as language, display or consent choices;
- to understand how visitors, search engines, verified crawlers and answer / generative engines reach and use the website, including AEO/GEO statistical analysis;
- to enable optional third-party media or functionality when you choose to use it; and
- where introduced in the future and lawfully enabled, to measure marketing effectiveness or support advertising activities.
4. Consent model and legal basis
Lifewood treats Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot analytics / visitor-identification technologies as non-essential website technologies. Where applicable law requires consent, these technologies will not be activated until you have made the relevant choice through Lifewood’s cookie banner or preference centre. Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent where permitted because they are required to provide functionality you request, maintain security, deliver the Website or remember your privacy choices.
Where the consent interface is available, you may select “Accept All”, “Reject Non-Essential” or manage individual categories, and you may withdraw or change your choice at any time through the persistent “Cookie Settings” control. Refusing non-essential browser technologies will not prevent access to the core Website. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Server-side security logs, bot-verification records and aggregate measurements that do not store or access information on your device are not controlled by the cookie preference centre, although any personal data within those records remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. Technologies currently identified on the Website
5.1 Browser cookies and consent-controlled technologies
The table below reflects the technologies identified by Lifewood’s technical team as at 7 September 2026. Cookie durations must be verified against the live production configuration immediately before publication and should not be taken solely from vendor documentation. The live Cookie Settings interface should then display the current cookie names, purposes and verified durations.

6. Third-party infrastructure, content and technologies
When your browser requests Website resources or you interact with embedded or externally hosted content, technical information such as your IP address, browser/device information, requested resource and referral information may be transmitted to the relevant infrastructure or content provider. Providers identified in the Website’s technical review include Framer CDN, Unsplash, HubSpot, YouTube / Google, Facebook / Meta, cdnjs and jsDelivr. Lifewood’s hosting and traffic-delivery infrastructure also includes Vercel and Cloudflare.
Some of these transmissions are necessary to deliver a resource requested by your browser; others may relate to optional analytics, visitor identification or embedded content. Where consent is required for a non-essential technology, Lifewood will apply the consent controls described in Section 4. Third-party providers may act as Lifewood processors, independent controllers or in another legally recognised role depending on the service and context. Their own privacy and cookie notices may also apply.
7. Browser-based analytics: Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot
Lifewood uses Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”), currently associated with property G-9RHBGTQ2FE, to understand Website traffic and usage. Depending on configuration and applicable consent, GA4 may process device and browser characteristics, referral source, pages viewed, session activity, approximate location derived from network information and interaction events. Google may receive technical information, including IP-related information, in connection with delivery of the service.
Lifewood also uses HubSpot, currently associated with portal 246959968, for visitor identification, page-activity measurement and, where relevant, management of business enquiries. Depending on configuration and consent, HubSpot may process visitor identifiers, page activity, browser/device information and related interaction information. GA4 and HubSpot analytics / visitor-identification technologies are treated as non-essential and will be activated only after consent where applicable law requires consent.
8. AEO/GEO, crawler and server-side website analytics
In addition to browser-based cookies and analytics, Lifewood uses server-side logging and statistical measurement tools to understand how public Website content is accessed by automated crawlers, search engines, answer engines, generative AI services and human visitors. These measurements support website security, genuine-crawler verification, performance analysis and Lifewood’s answer-engine / generative-engine optimisation (“AEO/GEO”) activities.
For crawler verification and related technical analysis, Lifewood may process the source IP address, requested Website path, crawler or bot identifier, verification result and timestamp. Per-request crawler records containing source IP information are retained for up to 30 days in the current configuration.
Lifewood may also retain aggregate crawler statistics, including daily access counts, requested paths and verification outcomes keyed by bot identifier, without retaining the originating IP address in those aggregate records. These aggregate crawler records are retained for approximately 400 days (about 13 months) in the current configuration.
For human Website traffic, Lifewood may retain aggregate visit counts and aggregate referring hostnames by day for approximately 400 days (about 13 months). These records are used for statistical analysis and Website / AEO/GEO performance measurement.
These server-side measurements do not themselves place or read cookies on your device and therefore may operate independently of browser cookie preferences. Where an IP address, identifier or other element within a server-side record constitutes personal data, Lifewood processes it in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
9. Managing your choices
The most direct way to manage non-essential browser cookies and tags on lifewood.com is through the Cookie Settings control available on the Website. You can also configure your browser to block, delete or notify you about cookies. Browser controls and the Cookie Settings interface do not necessarily disable ordinary server logs, cybersecurity records, bot-verification records or aggregate server-side statistics that do not store or access information on your device. Blocking all cookies may cause some Website functions to operate differently.
Where applicable law requires Lifewood to recognize a legally valid browser-based opt-out or preference signal, such as a Global Privacy Control signal, Lifewood will process that signal in accordance with the law applicable to the relevant user and technology.
10. Personal data generated through website technologies
Information collected through cookies, analytics tools, server logs or crawler-verification systems may constitute personal data where it identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual or device. Lifewood handles such information in accordance with the Lifewood Privacy Policy, including its provisions on purposes and lawful bases, sharing, security, retention, international transfers and individual rights.
Lifewood does not sell personal data and does not intentionally use cookies on lifewood.com for cross-context behavioural advertising as at the date of this Policy.
11. Retention
Retention varies by technology and purpose. Current Lifewood server-side crawler per-hit logs are retained for up to 30 days, while aggregate crawler and human Website statistics are retained for approximately 400 days (about 13 months). Browser cookie durations for GA4 and HubSpot must be verified against the production configuration immediately before publication and should then be displayed in the live Cookie Settings interface. Lifewood will review these periods periodically and retain identifiable information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law.
12. International data transfers
Lifewood operates globally, so website data may be processed outside the country from which you access the Website. Where cross-border transfer requirements apply, Lifewood will use appropriate safeguards as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our website, technologies, providers, legal requirements or privacy practices change. The revised version will show a new “Last updated” date. Where required, we will seek fresh consent before materially changing non-essential cookie use.
